Work with Pierstop

We publish cruise port guides in four languages for passengers who have one day ashore. Three ways to partner with us, and one rule that does not bend.

Three doors

Which one are you?

Sponsored content

You want to be named and linked inside our editorial. Fixed rates, we write the piece, and every link is marked as sponsored.

See rates ↓

Operator & brand partnerships

You run excursions, a tourist board, or a travel service our readers need on a port day. Priced per agreement, because no two look alike.

What this looks like ↓

Cruise lines & agencies

You want to license the guides for your own passengers, co-branded or white-label.

The rules

Read this before you write to us

These are not negotiating positions. They are why readers trust what we publish, which is the only thing you are buying.

Every link in paid placement is rel="sponsored"

No exceptions, at any price. We do not sell links that pass ranking credit, and we will not quote for one.

We write it

We do not publish supplied articles, agency drafts, or anything distributed to other sites. You get a review and a factual correction round.

It has to be about a port day

If it would not help someone with eight hours ashore, it does not belong here, whatever the budget.

It is labelled, in four languages

The label sits above the content, not in a footnote, in every language we publish.

We take few

At most one sponsored article per 10 editorial ones, and no more than 2 new placements a quarter.

Paid never displaces editorial

A paid listing is added to a page. It never takes the place of something we chose on merit.

Not a fit

What we turn down

  • Link marketplaces and resellers acting for undisclosed clients
  • Pre-written guest posts, and articles placed for rankings rather than readers
  • Anything unrelated to cruise travel — casino, finance, crypto, pharma

Still a fit?

Write to us with the port or region you care about, what you want the reader to do, and your budget. We reply within one business day.

We read every message. We answer the ones that name a port.
