The harbour IS the town centre. Torget (main square) is 1 minute from the quay. Svinøya island is 5 minutes across the bridge.
Magic Ice opens 10:00 (summer) or 12:00 (winter). War Museum 10:00–22:00 summer. Galleries mostly 10:00–18:00. Trollfjord boats depart from Torget.
Public toilets at the harbour terminal. Also at the tourist information centre on Torget and inside Magic Ice.
The iconic wooden fish-drying racks (hjell) are best seen Feb–May when cod hangs to dry. Even empty, they're photogenic and unique to Lofoten.
