The quay is the village. There is no centre to walk to.
Hurtigruten lists 10 minutes both ways. Northbound 08:20–08:30. Southbound 02:35–02:45 at night. Do not plan Runde around this stop.
Runde, with puffins (Apr–Aug) and sea eagles, is in Herøy but not at the quay. Ten minutes is not enough. Bus or car only if your ship stays longer.
Cards accepted everywhere. You do not need cash. Choice in Torvik is minimal — eat on board if the stop is short.
